My interpretation of Northern Lights

This is my interpretation of the northern lights over mountains. I was inspired by several time lapse videos of northern lights in Norway and Sweden, and created my own in bright green paint. The sky is comprised of several bright blue colors, which I used mainly on paintings of oceans. I also used paint that shimmers under lights, especially on the mountains and on the dark landscape.
Dette er en tolkning av nordlys over fjell. Jeg var inspirert av flere «time lapse» videoer av nordlys i Norge og Sverige, og skapte min egen med lysgrønn maling. Himmelen består av flere sterke blå farger, som jeg brukte hovedsakelig på sjømalerier. Jeg malte også med maling som glimrer under lys, særlig på fjell og det mørke landskapet.
Chelsea E. Dill has always been interested in art since childhood and was often found with a paintbrush in her hand. After years of filling sketchbooks with drawings, Chelsea ventured into painting, especially having come from a family of artists. Primarily self-taught, Chelsea works in acrylic paint and her artwork has been featured in several local art shows. She enjoys painting maritime scenes and is always inspired from the incredible places from her travels. In addition to painting, Chelsea enjoys knitting, particularly garments with traditional Nordic motifs. She is also greatly interested in Norway and speaks fluent Norwegian.
